Matt Owens is a comedian, comedy show producer, actor, and radio and film producer based in New Orleans.  A prominent fixture in the local comedy scene since 2010, Matt has shared the stage with standup heavyweights Louis CK, Bill Burr, Mark Normand, Hannibal Burress, Theo Von, Dom Irrera, Rich Vos, Brian Posehn, Kyle Kinane and many more.  Matt has successfully booked produced sold-out theater shows under the Stand Up NOLA brand, and is currently the co-owner and show producer for Laugh Life Comedy.  His radio and film credits include the Fox Searchlight film Wendy, The Jay Thomas Show on Sirius XM, and Kevin Hart’s Heart of the City. Matt’s brand of subtle self-deprecating humor intertwined with long form storytelling have entertained audiences all across America, including The Comedy Store, Zanie’s and Comedy Zone. 

Stu Schayot is a 20+ year veteran of the New Orleans music and comedy scene.  He is the former talent buyer and events manager for the renowned NOLA venue The Howlin’ Wolf, as well as managed artists including the Grammy-Winning Rebirth Brass Band, The Revivalists, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Mike Dillon, Naughty Professor, and more.  In addition to being co-owner and talent buyer for Laugh Life Comedy, Stu is also the assistant producer for The Bayou Boogaloo Music Festival in New Orleans.
