  • Marcella is a stand up comedian, writer and actor who has been working for almost twenty years. Her comedy knows no bounds while she eagerly discusses any and every topic that tickles her. From dating short guys - because she has no other options at 6’2’’ - to being mistaken for a man, her Latinx identity, her take on race & gender, and wild stories & situations she’s gotten herself in and out of. Marcella’s debut half hour comedy special Bitch, Grow Up. was released in 2023 on HBO MAX. It’s a half hour that fully represents the comedians abilities to handle all forms of comedy - from one liners to stories to crowd work - the many years she’s put in absolutely shines through. Of the special, Latin Media writes that Marcella “manages to ruffle feathers while delivering a routine that feels absolutely joyous.”  Decider.com writes, “she has earned this moment.”  In 2025, Marcella can be seen on the upcoming second season of Poker Face on Peacock, as well as returning to After Midnight on CBS where she made a great first impression last year, according to Vulture. She relocated to Chicago where she runs her monthly show, Comedy Is Dead! on the second Thursdays of the month at the Lincoln Lodge.
